Money doesn't buy happiness, it buys freedom

The reason I couldn’t restart my newsletter is the same reason you’re not doing anything with your idea.

I wasn’t sure what to write to get immediate success, how to produce a perfectly crafted newsletter on the first try.

I expected myself to create something like the ones I get in my inbox — almost professionally written.

Maybe they are professionally written. I have no way of knowing.

It made me feel incompetent.

I can’t write such a well crafted newsletter on the first try. I suspect that even the third try would come up lacking.

Why should I even try?

I found why it’s important to me.

Beyond everyone saying that I should do it, beyond not building my empire on borrowed land.

Having an audience outside of LinkedIn will allow me to speak more freely on LinkedIn — I won’t be afraid to be banned and lose my only marketing channel.

I want that free speech.

By writing a newsletter, even just once a week, I will have it twice — more on LinkedIn and much more here, where I have full control of the space.

Building your idea into a small and profitable business is scary because you see the successful tech-bros and don’t see their qualities in yourself.

What if you had a way it would work for you, without demanding more than you can give?

Which freedom would you get from an extra €2K a month?
